Sarah Steiker (she/her) was born and raised in Southern California, so of course she decided she wanted to escape to the East Coast.

After studying Theater and Business at Brandeis University and spending a semester in London at the British American Drama Academy, she spent 10 months as an Apprentice at the Arden Theater Company in Philly.

After being brutalized by East Coast winters for five years straight, Sarah moved back to sunny Los Angeles to pursue a career in Television and Film. In LA, Sarah worked on a variety of game shows and ended up in Casting for scripted comedies.

While working full time behind the camera, Sarah studied acting at the Actor’s Collective and comedy writing at The Second City. Her first pilot, “The Knitting Circle” is currently in the works. Speaking of Knitting Circles, Sarah spends a lot of her free time knitting and crocheting matching cardigans for herself and her dog.

Her friends have told her she has a special talent for jigsaw puzzles, and she can sing just about any commercial jingle from memory. She definitely identifies as a quirky redhead!
